The compact house of Australian architect Josh Fitzgerald merges as much as possible with the surrounding nature of the island of Tasmania. There are no luxurious furnishings or fancy items here; instead, Josh opted for practicality and local materials. The house is made of wood and sandwich panels made from wood shavings, while sandstone slabs serve as floors and steps. Inside, there is simple and functional furniture and an abundance of plants, which further help the house to merge with the surrounding forest!
