Pastel Kingdom: colorful summer cottage in Sweden

Julia and her husband lived in a city apartment in Goteborg for a long time, but when it came time to expand after the birth of a child, the family decided to give up the stressful life in the city and move to the archipelago. Their choice fell on Donso – a quiet island near the city, where cars are even prohibited. Here they found a wonderful house, built in 1951. When they first entered the basement, they discovered that the doors and water pipes were painted in mint blue and yellow, and from then on, Julia knew that this home would have a lot of color. It so happened, as the interiors of the cottage are decorated in all kinds of pastel shades, like a dollhouse. Looks unusual and so cheerful!

This home put a big smile on my face. And the fact there are no cars around, makes this place more attractive.
