The owner of this Richmond home in San Francisco asked the designer to transform his 1914 cottage. The owner is an artist by profession and at the same time loves English country houses very much – these two facts became the starting points for creating interior design. It all started with a color palette: soft pink, green and blue are often found in English estates, however, as well as the bold use of printed wallpaper and patterned textiles. The farm-style kitchen with a checkerboard floor, brick and rustic elements also fits perfectly into the idea. But vintage elements, antique dishes and lamps, as well as paintings and posters created by the owner especially for his beloved home make this interiors truly English and cozy!
