Art and bright modern furniture: renovation of old apartment in Madrid

Although this apartment is located in an elegant building of the 19th century in Madrid, until recently its interiors could not boast of any outstanding characteristics. Of course, large windows overlooking the inner park were a good advantage, but there were no beautiful classical stucco, no preserved wooden parquet, no beams or columns. Therefore, during the recent renovation, the designers decided to focus on works of art and bright modern furniture. So, having created a pure white base, the authors of the project decorated the walls with various paintings by contemporary artists, and furniture and decor were selected according to the principle ‘the more colorful, the better.’ It turned out pretty impressive!
