After living in Stockholm for several years, Emily and Fredrik decided they wanted to go back to their roots in the province of Dalarna where they grew up. The search was not quick: it took almost a year before the couple found their dream home – a traditional cottage with a yellow exterior, 3-meter ceilings and 5 antique stoves. With simple makeovers that included adding floral wallpaper, flea market finds and vintage furniture, the family was able to bring life and soul to this very charming country house.
