New house in Melbourne that looks like century old

Bryant Alsop‘s architects have tried to make this suburban Melbourne house look like it’s been standing there for years – to perfectly fit the new building into an area with a lot of historic homes. And the best solution for this purpose was the use of masonry on the facade and in the interiors – the one that we can see on old villa in Europe. Thanks to natural stone, the house has acquired a solid, timeless look, not to mention the cozy effect it brings. The interiors of the house are very bright and light – exactly what you need for the carefree life of owner’s large and cheerful family!
