100-year-old house in Lisbon with unique decor by local craftsmen

Designer Teresa Golpe is originally from Spain but moved to Lisbon a few years ago for work. Here she fell in love with local traditions and crafts, traveling a lot around the country by car, studying history and getting to know the masters. And here magnificent home in Lisbon is just a treasure – an old 100-year-old townhouse with elegant classical architecture, which at one time belonged to the Dukes of Braganza (heirs to the throne). The owner was personally involved in updating the interiors and tried very hard to restore the original details of the house, as well as fill it with decors from local artisans. It turned out beautiful and cozy!
