As black and dramatic as the facade of this house in upstate New York is, its interior is so light and sunny – the play of contrasts was a great success for the architects. We can see numerous windows along the entire perimeter of the cottage, and the open plan with high ceilings ensures unobstructed access to natural light in every corner of the house. The interiors are harmonious in their simplicity and the use of natural materials, not cluttered with a large amount of decor for better contemplation of nature outside. Enjoy!
