Warmth of natural wood in design of modern Amsterdam townhouse

We often post about old canal houses in Amsterdam, which were built back in the 19th and even 18th centuries. But don’t forget that high-quality modern architecture is very strong in the Netherlands. This townhouse on the outskirts of the city is a good example of open and environmentally friendly, and most importantly cozy modern design. The ceilings and walls here are covered with warm natural wood, while the huge windows not only give wonderful views of the bay, but also abundantly fill the house with gentle natural light. Enjoy!
