When the owners of this traditional Swedish cottage felt that they lacked space, they decided to add an extension to the main house. Interestingly, the family did not try to adapt to the classic style of the old building, but created a new volume in a modern style with glass walls and a dark wooden facade. In the extension, it was decided to place a spacious kitchen with an island and a dining area, which has now become the most beloved place in the house for a big and cheerful family of owners.
