Gamla Stan is the very heart of Stockholm with some of the oldest houses and palaces not only in the city, but in all of Sweden. Here, on one of the narrow pedestrian streets with paving stones, there is an elegant residential building built in the 17th century with a gorgeous Baroque entrance and this incredible apartment on the top floor. The fact is that its interiors are decorated in a rustic style, which is usually used for country houses, and not for apartments in the historical center. Cracked beams and solid floors, wood paneling on the walls, a fireplace – the interiors of the apartment indeed look very unusual!
