The first thing you notice when approaching this wonderful house in the suburbs of Brussels is the thatched roof. This traditional construction technique (which was also historically popular here in Ukraine) takes on a wonderful new interpretation here – it is no longer just an element of a simple rural hut, but an impressive architectural detail for a large modern house.
