Bright interiors of traditional house in the suburbs of Paris

This house in a quiet suburb of Paris is like a box with a surprise. The outside it’s a charming traditional country home with the stone facade and shutters for which the French countryside is famous. But inside, we discover unexpectedly bright modern interiors with bold color accents and contemporary art. High beamed ceilings, a fireplace and fragments of ancient stone walls not only connect the updated design with centuries-old architecture, but also give the interiors unique characteristics. Great project by designer Natacha Lecompte!
