Walking past this 1930s villa in Sydney, it’s easy to imagine you’re in the south of France. Endless arches, natural stone paving of the facade, tiled roof and especially the green garden – the architecture and grounds were clearly inspired by traditional European villas on the Cote d’Azur. On the other hand, the interiors of the house are a completely different story. During a recent renovation, Hugh-Jones Mackintosh Studio created a light, modern design with colorful furniture, rounded shapes and a mood of eternal summer. Let’s take a closer look!
