This charming house in the suburbs of Melbourne was built in the 1970s and is a fine example of the well-preserved mid-century style that everyone aspired to back then. When updating the interiors of the cottage, studio Nuud tried to preserve the warm atmosphere of the spaces and emphasize expressive finishing materials such as exposed brick and wood. Despite the serious reconstruction of the house frame, which had to be done for better energy efficiency, the designer managed to maintain an authentic aura, and most importantly, make the home feel cozy and soulful.
