Spacious modern cottage instead of dilapidated 19th century house in Sweden

When Matilda and Agust bought a property in southern Sweden, close to the village where they grew up, the couple were incredibly happy – it was like coming home for the family. But there was one catch – an old 19th-century house on a site with yellowed wood, crooked walls and an inconvenient layout. And Matilda, her husband and children dived headlong into the reconstruction process, which lasted a year and a half (and has not yet been completed). But now it is a spacious and bright modern cottage with stylish decor and many comfortable nooks for all family members!
