Gorgeous classical arches welcome the owners and guests of this house in Melbourne – it was built more than 100 years ago and is city’s important architectural heritage. But as is often the case with Australian architecture, the inner space of the house is much more modern than it seems at first glance. The industrial-style brick extension and trendy designer furnishings made the transition from historic to contemporary very spectacular and comfortable. Great work by architects and designers!
