When actress Ellen Pompeo of popular medical drama series “Grey’s Anatomy” bought this old barn in a wooded area just outside New York, she planned to completely rebuild it into a large family residence. But a couple of years later the plans changed and a large family holiday house was purchased in the sunny Malibu, and it was decided to leave the cottage as it is – small and cozy, for short and quiet weekends after a busy work.
