Many believe that blue is the color of tranquility and relaxation. Perhaps designer Mark D Sikes know this well as the interiors of this Californian home breathe calm and comfort. White, blue and light brown played very well together, there are also notes of country style and American classics. The veranda with a view of the beautiful grove is decorated in the same palette and textiles. This solution perfectly connected the interior with outdoor space. Not to mention how beautifully all the prints and details fit together.
Collector Sally Grimes hired PROjECT Interiors studio to add some extravagance and glamour to her traditional house in the suburbs of Chicago. In addition, they needed to harmoniously inscribe her impressive collection of art objects in the interiors. Fringe, fur, and Lucite in one room – for someone it might be too much, but not for Sally and her designers. This is a very refined and expressive design that surprises and amazes in almost every corner. Enjoy!
Those who see pictures of this home in Indiana, the USA, before repairs, can not believe their eyes, so much change has occurred in it. When the owners moved here a few years ago, it was far from their dreams. Most importantly, the house was not at all suitable for a large family with three children. But all the members of the family were involved in the renovation process, as the couple work in a local construction company. And joint efforts have given a wonderful result – now it’s a very hearty and very homey dwelling, where absolutely everyone feels great!
If a living room in your home is very small in size, it is not at all a reason to be upset. Designer Sarah Richardson has decorated a really small interior of an open living room with kitchen, and once again proved that it is not necessary to sacrifice style in small spaces. Just look how much elegance and aesthetics there is in this wonderful interior! In addition, this space is full of smart decisions and useful ideas. Enjoy!!
In 2012, America’s East Coast was badly affected by Hurricane Sandy, many homes in a state like New Jersey were almost completely destroyed. This shore house is located exactly in this part of US and almost nothing remained of it after the mentioned events. But the owner designer Joe Lucas miraculously restored the house to its former glory and breathed new life into its interiors. Let’s have a look!
Looking at the interiors of this elegant apartment in the New York’s best area, it’s hard to believe they were created for a bachelor living. Living room, kitchen, and private areas are dominated by light and calm tones and refined forms, as well as many art objects in decoration. Only the home office is slightly out of the color scheme thanks to a wonderful dark blue bookcase, that, however, fits perfectly into the design. You can say the owner of this home has an excellent taste!
In this cool Swedish apartment of 41 sqm, there are elegant touches of modern American style: clear moldings on the walls, photographs in golden frames (by the way, there are plenty of gold-colored accessories throughout the home), marble coffee table and kitchen backsplash, velvet sofa. By the way, the flat, despite its size, occupies the top two floors of the apartment house allowing for wonderful views of the roofs of Stockholm!
Designer Alyssa Kapito really has a unique signature style. Her interiors are incredibly soft and sensual, but at the same time, they are elegant and exquisite, without girly florals and country shabby things. The color scheme that she loves to work with consists mainly of light pastel semitones and shades diluted with tasty and stylish accents. Unique designer furniture pieces and accessories, which Alyssa uses in her work, is another thing that we admire in her portfolio. Beautiful design!
What a lovely home in California’s Marin Country was recently designed by Mark D. Sikes! Here we see a wonderful example of the traditional American design of a country house, in which classical forms and wood predominate. But besides this, we can not fail to admit the beautifully selected color scheme of white and blue shades, that goes through all the interiors. Ideal home with complete relax!
Designer Michael Del Piero has a passion for old and shabby things, that give the home a gorgeous vintage look and a feeling that it was built many years ago. At the same time, interiors that she creates are not for museums and exhibitions, they are also modern and comfy, meeting all the needs of today’s life. Subtle and beautiful!
