It’s interesting to see such a modern design in one of the famous canal houses in Amsterdam, as the owners of such homes usually prefer more classic interiors, emphasizing the luxurious historical facades. Nevertheless, the owner of this apartment hired Piet Boon studio to create a minimalistic and fancy dwelling that would honor his lifestyle and passions. We especially love the relax area with an olive tree under a glass roof – a real luxury for a city living!
The owner of these apartments in Los Angeles some time ago approached studio SVZ Interior Design with the request to remake his bachelor pad into a bright modern housing for a young family. The thing is that he was just about to get married, and what he liked in this home before just was not suitable for living together with a girl. As a result, designers managed to create a very elegant and stylish space, in which light colors and interesting design features prevail. Great project!
The truth is that beloved home can inspire a person to create. Some time ago we posted about a wonderful young Swedish brand Layered. and its founder Malin Glemme says she was inspired to create a collection of furniture just after moving to her new apartment in the suburbs of Stockholm. This stunning dwelling is located in an old 100-year-old villa with only 5 apartments and has a total area of about 200 sqm. Interiors are the epitome of the company’s main concept that implies multilayered and elegant spaces. Enjoy!
Picturesque park and a quiet courtyard outside the window – honestly speaking, not the most typical set for a resident of New York, a city that is sometimes called “stone jungle.” But the owners were fortunate enough to own the apartment right next to the famous Gramercy Park in one of the most prestigious areas of the city. The family spent a long time looking for a house in which they could put down roots now they are sure that they found it here. Magnificent home with a stunning design!
This magnificent apartment in the 18th-century building once served as a residence for the ambassador of the last Russian tsar. Now it is a private abode of a historic architecture admirer who recently decided to breathe new life into this unique accommodation, making it comfortable for modern life. Nevertheless, in the renovated interiors there was a place for many original details that were carefully preserved or restored: parquet, marble fireplace, stucco and moldings. What a beauty!
People usually say about such kind of apartments: “high-class home”. Just look at these magnificent huge windows in the living room that open to impressive views over Manhattan – the apartment is located in a historical building on one of the most prestigious streets of New York. By the was, the living room is impressive in size, forming together with the kitchen and dining area a large open space. Interior design here is a mixture of loft elements and an elegant modern American style. Terrific!
As we know, the best design is the one that goes in harmony with architecture. For example, loft spaces can not be created in regular apartment buildings with low ceilings and small rooms. For such interiors, old warehouses or converted old factory buildings are needed. So this London apartment in the former industrial building has many of their loft space elements and here it was completely justified. We would also like to admit some authentic features of this stylish home: juicy colorful furniture in the living room, a grand piano in the bedroom, metal medieval doors. Beautiful project!
If Scandinavian interiors can be easily recognized by white color, IKEA furniture and the absence of curtains, the Parisian apartments are also guessed from the first photo thanks to a unique architecture, magnificent stucco moldings and a chevron floors. In addition, Paris designers adore eclecticism, and this large apartment is no exception. Mix of different styles, contrasting and bold color combinations, elegant wall decor and accessories – the interiors stand out with an abundance of objects and solutions, you to explore this home again and again. Enjoy!
Today we have an incredibly beautiful home in Italy with amazing views from the windows. This classic apartment on the shores of Lake Maggiore was decorated by the Russian designer Anna Dmitrieva of Couture Interiors studio for her family. The highlight of this house is a magnificent color scheme, which, according to Anna, was supposed to convey the natural palette of the local landscapes. A real dream!
The owner of interior store Casa Lopez in Paris Pierre Sauvage is a non-ordinary person, and this relates to his home as well. His previous apartment did not satisfy him just because it was built “only” slightly over 100 years ago. Therefore, as soon as he found a grandeur classical 18th century apartment in the heart of Paris, he immediately moved in without thinking. In the new home everything is exactly like he dreamed: magnificent space, high ceilings, stucco molding, and most importantly – the breath of history. Enjoy!
