This two-story brownstone in Brooklyn is a rental home for a family with three children, so it was impossible to carry out large-scale repairs. You tenants could not change the location of the lighting, repaint walls or make a major redevelopment. Therefore, the family decided to refresh the interior sand give them individuality with the help of bright furniture and accessories. Colorful details and furniture with a geometric pattern very nicely contrasts with white walls, a fireplace and wooden doors.
A young couple lives in this positive and bright house near Barcelona. They moved here quite recently and were very worried that the move would be painful. This charismatic and colorful apartment in Florence was designed for the owners of a well-known Italian furniture brand. Previously it was an old and gloomy office was, but even then it was possible to see the huge potential of these premises in the building of 1800. The owners and the designer decided to focus on bright elements in design, various textures and prints and modern furniture. For example, there is a golden cupboard and a green fireplace, and, of course, there were elements of modern art. The interiors are eclectic and catchy, which the customers wanted, and thanks to this, we were able to admire a very bold and interesting project!
This townhouse in London is a real bright splash. Positive mood fills here every room – tropics in the corridor, colorful sofas, a blue shelving and a fireplace in the living room, an orange refrigerator and a whole wine cabinet in the kitchen. Initially, this apartment in Moscow of 46 sqm has a completely different layout. Designer Victoria Vlasova perfectly played with the space and placed the kitchen on the place where laundry once was. Thus, the kitchen joined the living room, and its former place now is occupied by a bedroom. The client is fond of tropical style and bright colors, which became main accents in this home. By the time Zhenya Zhdanova started working on the design of this apartment in Moscow, she had known the owners for a long time, so they gave her complete freedom. As a result, a bright eclectic home with a variety of prints, textures and colors was born. The main colors in the scheme are bold blue, emerald and terracotta, which mix in different combinations. The kitchen is connected to the living room and dining room, and each of the three bedrooms seems to tell its story: from the bright tropical to the sophistication of the “Great Gatsby” style. In such a flashy interior, perhaps not everyone will be comfortable, but the owners love experiments and vivid colors, so this is the favorite and most beautiful place to be for them.
100 years is quite an honorable age but this historic townhouse in London looks young and bold. Here the mosaic of the beginning of XX century is combined with the art objects of XXI century, and elegant carpets and fireplaces are surrounded by floral furniture, posters and bizarre statuettes.
