It’s impossible not to fall in love with this stunning lake house, designed by Thom Filicia, in upstate New York, in the Adirondack Mountains. Inspired by the location, the interior designer uses natural materials such as flagstone (for fireplaces) and birch logs (for balusters) that look very organic against the background of the palette of surrounding shades of blue, green and brown. However, the interiors do not seem too rustic, thanks to accessories – Indonesian chairs, Moroccan and Turkish carpets. In general, this house is an ideal place for family holidays and solitude, where from every window a stunning view!
