The interiors of this house in Melbourne combine old and new. After the reconstruction, this Victorian-era home shone even more beautiful. Designers decided to leave intact ceiling pilasters, fireplaces, a grand staircase and the decoration of a completely luxurious facade, where openwork forged balconies, stained-glass windows and tiled mosaics adorn the main entrance. Furniture and accessories, not counting a few things, are modern. The interiors are dominated by cream and beige shades and there are bright spots: a yellow sofa and a chair in the living room, colorful details in the bathroom and the office. The cozy backyard hides a relaxation zone and swimming pool. History and modernity are wonderfully connected in this project.
