Renovated 19th century farmhouse

The owners of this house on  Long Island, New York have always dreamed of an old-good farm like this, but by the time they found it they already had both an apartment and a country house. However, the 1840 building was so fascinated that the deal was concluded 24 hours after the viewing.But this was only the beginning as it was necessary to make the house look like a comfy 21st century home. As a result, everything was updated, except for the staircase. Designer together with the owners managed to create an interesting interior at the junction of times, and the color scheme with the use of malachite, wine, gray and beige flowers gives the house nobility and grace. Minimalist family home behind classic Victorian facade in Sydney, Australia

Let the magnificent traditional Victorian facade of this townhouse in Sydney do not mislead anyone – behind it there are very modern minimalist interiors, which is a home to a local designer’s family. When the owners bought this house, they fell in love with the appearance and location in a quiet residential area, but inside the house was gloomy and uninviting. Therefore, they started a major rebuild, which lasted for 1.5 years, and with the help of architects from MCK, they managed to create a spacious and bright space for the comfort of each family member. In addition, there is an inner garden and a garage with a working studio. Awesome!
