This small house with a swimming pool in Spain was morally and physically outdated and in need of major repairs. It used to be a caretaker’s cottage on a large estate, where the ground floor was originally residential, and the basement was used as a garage and storage room. The designer turned the rooms into an open space with a living room, dining room, kitchen and work area. Not a trace of the old renovation remained; they were replaced by white walls, wooden and wicker furniture and green elements in the form of flowers and decor. The backyard turned out to be a piece of paradise with a small pool, a terrace with a metal pergola and a cozy dining area in the garden!
