Clouds and sun as inspiration for interior design

A cloud with sunshine is what this snow-white house in Napa, California, reminds of. The owner of the house, designer Benjamin Dong, decided to give his home a soft character. It is dominated by white, light gray, beige and amazing accents of all shades of yellow. The decor combines the old and modern: some pieces of furniture were made to order, others Benjamin found by coincidence at flea markets. In the interiors, there is also a connection with nature, in almost every room there are plants in pots, fresh flowers in vases or dried flowers. The theme of the sky is revealed in two wonderful canvases: the painting by Wade Hofer, depicting the sun-drenched sky, decorated the kitchen, and the original cloud of marble complemented the living room. We also liked the vases with lemons and oranges placed throughout the house – this is perhaps a tribute to the sunny region where the house is located. Great home!
