Swedish apartment with pastel details

The color scheme of this Swedish apartment consists of white and gray base and touches of turquoise and pink. Pastel colors not only softened and diversified the interiors but also created an atmosphere of spring. A lovely balcony drowning in flowers also added to the light and lively character of this home.

We are already used to the fact that Swedes love bright interiors and therefore often they are white, pastel gray or with a different light shade. Actually like this one. And soft turquoise and pink colors diluted the oversaturated white and gray interior.

The living room is connected to the kitchen and dining zones. Despite the small area, each functional zone is smartly separated from each other, but still making up a cozy open space. The kitchen is small, but very charming. It looks nice thanks to shelves with plates, details on the kitchen table, empty turquoise glass bottles on the top shelf. We can feel Scandinavian style and comfort, which Swedes like to create, thanks to smallest detail.

The dining area is even smaller than the kitchen, but it seems so cozy. Items such as candles on the table and a pendant above the table complete the ideal image. A staircase near the window – looks very stylish and great fit into the overall design.

The living room was meant to be an oasis of comfort and easily copes with its task, creating this feeling with small details, such as wall paintings, cushions on the sofa and on a chair, carpet on the floor. Even this garland with flags and a bubble in the form of a moon, although they look playful, but complement the image. The pot on the stack of magazines is a very Swedish thing. Actually, this is an excellent option for processing unnecessary things right at home. Of course, you do not spend on it technical efforts, but to turn old magazines into a stand under something worthy of respect, at least from the Swedes.

We can get in the bedroom directly from the living room, or better to say from the area where the dining nook is. In our opinion, in this layout there is one minus – the smells of food during cooking will go into the room and no super powerful cooker hood will help. Although, this problem can be encountered in any apartment, especially a small one.

The closet attracts special attention. We would call it smart, because it helps to properly use the space for clothes, shoes and other personal items.

Balcony is a special place in the whole home, because it’s simply stunning. When the warm weather finally come, you can spend every morning and evening there. The abundance of flowers pleases the eye. Probably, this is the most favorite place of the apartment owners, and we perfectly understand them.
