The owners of this apartment in New York’s East Village asked the designer Ashlie Broderic to make friends to combine minimalism and industrial touches in the interiors of their home. The space turned out to be very geometric: starting from square windows and a fireplace zone and ending with cushion prints and slender rows of logs. Ashlie tried to soften such severity with the help of a very pleasant color scheme: milky, beige and light gray in combination with black and peach-red accents. One of these accents were brick walls that refer us to the loft style. The bedroom also turned out to be beautiful and delicate – a real corner of harmony and coziness. Excellent city home!

Три кусочка кирпичной стены и черные рамы – это индустриальный стиль? И где минимализм? Это скорее просто современный стиль, контемпорари и т.п. Получилось очень красиво, уютно, стильно, всего в меру. Но, главное, такая квартира универсальна и, думаю, понравится многим людям. Одна из лучших городских квартир.
Анжелика, позвольте с вами не согласиться.:) В данном интерьере есть много чего от индустриального стиля: многочисленные металлические конструкции и оконные рамы в черном, фрагменты кирпичных стен, бетонная отделка. Нам кажется, этого более чем достаточно, чтобы назвать интерьер индустриальным, но мы скромно написали “с элементами индустриального стиля”. То есть, мы точно не ошиблись в заглавии.:)
