The new hotel by famous boutique chain Hoxton has recently opened in the Chinatown area of Portland. It is located at the very beginning of Chinatown, in a gorgeous converted factory building of 1906. The interior design balances between the industrial and the vibrant mid-century style styles, and all this with a predominance of beautiful color scheme of fall tones. In the lobby and bar, designers have retained wooden columns, concrete pillars and original brickwork. The combination of new and old – a distinctive feature of the interiors of this hotel chain. The hotel offers 119 cozy rooms, a bar and a restaurant, and in the future the owners of the hotel want to make it the center of attraction for the local community: presentations, lectures, master classes and musical performances will take place here.
