We love the stories of large-scale reconstructions because in such houses a special atmosphere usually reigns. Previously in this barn in Spain the owners kept hay and different equipment, but now it is a wonderful country home. New windows were installed in the building and decorated with shutters, a veranda and a balcony were constructed, and most importantly, they completely transformed the interior space. But some things like wooden ceilings and stone walls were preserved – this is the history of the building and strong materials that will last for many years. The goal was to create coziness and get rid of the image of the barn. And we think it turned out just great.
