Mix of opposites: interesting house in Australia

This house in Australia has a completely unusual look: from the street it is a Victorian-style brick building, and from the courtyard there is a trendy and modern facade with columns. The interiors are an even more complicated story, with a mix of styles and textures. In theory, it is difficult to imagine how a large white staircase with a smooth surface and a complex stucco pattern on the ceiling will combine with each other. Or how to place nearby classic stained-glass windows and paintings by contemporary artists. But in reality, all this works perfectly together here. Moreover, a family lives here with a child and a dog, which means even higher demands are placed on the house: a comfortable layout, plenty of storage space, washable and safe surfaces. The designer handled everything perfectly.
