Eclectic design with oriental feel in Nuzul Al Salam hotel in Bahrain

Ammar Bashir, who worked on new Nuzul Al Salam hotel in Bahrain, in his career has designed more than a hundred palaces for the royal families of the Middle East and dozens of different projects around the world. This hotel is located in a beautiful traditional oriental house with a courtyard. There are six suites, each of which is created in its own color scheme. Coral, blue, green and yellow rooms are furnished with modern furniture, which is complemented by oriental accessories, plants and wallpapers with floral prints. The design team paid special attention to textiles: velvet, fringe, silk and hand-made tapestries with scenes from The Epic of Gilgamesh transfer guests to an oriental tale. You can get into the magical courtyard by going down an amazing staircase made of solid oak. The courtyard is decorated with lemon and orange trees, beautiful garden furniture and tiles made by local craftsmen. A wonderful place where tradition and local flavor meet modern design.

It’s interesting to see how he integrates thonet into a traditional Arabic building.

Да, мне тоже понравилось, как тонетовская мебель органично в писалась в восточный интерьер.
