Bold modern design of 1909 home in Sydney

Modern furniture of unusual shapes perfectly coexists with the classic details in this house in Sydney. It was built in 1909 and has since survived many owners, each of whom brought something of their own to the interiors. The current owners wanted to preserve the original features of the house: columns, wooden panels, doors, stained-glass windows – and at the same time turn the space from old-fashioned into stylish and vibrant. But before embarking on the interior decoration, the designer redid the roof and restored the brickwork. Catchy furniture, bright but noble accents and decor in the form of sculptures and paintings helped to make the interiors more modern. Another wish of the client was to restore a small patio, as before it looked as if separate from the entire space. But now it is a stylish home that can be easily changed to meet the needs of the family with the help of furniture and zoning.
