The choice of materials for the architecture and interiors of this modern holiday home near Lake Tahoe is not accidental – the authors of the project wanted to blend the structure into the surrounding forest environment as imperceptibly as possible. The house is located on a slope among volcanic boulders – hence the abundance of concrete surfaces in the design. The second most popular decoration material is wood, which is not at all surprising for a house in the forest. When it comes to interior design, minimalism reigns here with rough industrial touches and sophisticated designer furniture. Great project!
