In her projects, architect Sarah Henry always strives not to lose touch with nature. She adhered to the same concept when designing her own home in Melbourne. Large opening windows, simple brick and concrete finishes, wooden furniture and always a lot of solutions for planting: flower niches, a well-kept garden and an area with an olive tree in the middle of the house. The minimalistic interiors in natural tones help not to be distracted from the main thing: the sky, flowers, bushes and trees outside. Indeed, it is so nice when even in the city you are surrounded by nature!
