Most country cottages in Sweden are very similar, whether a house was built 100 years ago or recently. Red facade, white windows, traditional outlines – the locals are fond of their national features of housing construction. For example, this wooden cottage on Lake Flaren was built by a young couple of owners just a couple of years ago, but it is almost indistinguishable from the old buildings in the area. In addition to cozy Scandinavian interiors, views for several kilometers are stunning here, especially in winter, when the lake freezes over!
