From an old musician’s villa to a functional family home: cozy story from Denmark

Danes Anne Sophie and Morten were looking for a home for their family for a long time, and when they stumbled upon this building of 1951, they immediately fell in love with it. It was previously owned by a Hungarian violinist and conductor who designed the house for music performances and concerts. This story greatly inspired the new owners, but the building needed a thorough renovation. They started with the facade, replacing the red brick with a modern black and white finish. For the interiors, they chose a simple design with industrial touches: wood, metal, black accents and floral motifs. The owners point out that they wanted to strike a balance between elegant and industrial, and they succeeded!
