Floor-to-ceiling windows and mid-century mood in design of San Diego home

The owners of this San Diego home wanted it to have a 1950s feel. And the mid-century modern style was perfect for this task. First, the designer created a canvas: white walls, light parquet flooring and beautiful inserts with natural stone. Then carpets, paintings and marble countertops added texture to the interiors, and furniture in the style of the 50s brought it all together perfectly. And natural shades helped to connect the interior space with the beautiful landscape of the backyard: ocher, mustard, green, mint. A cool mix of modernity and the heritage of the last century!
