Sustainable & cozy: modern wood cottage in nature in New York

Working on the project of this family house in the state of New York, the architects of Lang Architecture pursued two main ideas – to harmoniously fit the building into the surrounding nature, and also to make it as environmentally friendly and self-sufficient as possible. Based on all this, the cottage was built of wood and glass, thanks to which the house does not stand out against the background of the forest, and the line between nature and the interiors is almost invisible. As for the interior spaces, they turned out to be modern, warm and very cozy, it is interesting to spend time here for both adults and children. I would also like to note the pool, which looks as natural as possible. Great project with nature in mind!
