See how couple of travelers brought abandoned farmhouse in Spain back to life

When Clara and Peter, avid travelers, first saw an abandoned farm in the Emporda region of Spain, the couple set on fire to realize their old dream – to acquire a stone home in the style of their favorite Provencal villas. It took 1.5 years to restore the house almost from ruins, and during this time they spent perhaps more money than they would have needed to build a new home, but the result was worth it. They managed to bring a beautiful historic building back to life, and with it interiors with a magnificent timeless character. Wooden beams, stone walls, a fireplace, and plenty of comfort – not a home, but a real dream!
