Palace Elcetric is not at all your typical design studio from New Zealand, consisting actually of one person – architect Ben Daly. So far, the company has only 3 completed projects, but their concept and approach are captivating – Ben finds the most boring and nondescript buildings (sheep barn or an old railway cottage) and converts them into eco-friendly and comfortable housing for little money. Interestingly, Ben does 95% of the work himself, as he is convinced that architects should be more involved in the implementation of their projects. Today we want to share photos of recent work by the studio – a cottage in which simplicity, comfort and chic decor are intertwined in a very pleasant and lively combination!
