During the renovation of this old farmhouse 20 km from Florence, the architect Marco Melotto paid special attention to preserving and restoring the magnificent historical shell of the building with all its arches, masonry and internal beams. At the same time, when it came to design, the emphasis was on minimalist spaces and the bare beauty of natural materials such as terracotta and wood. Thus, the authors of the project laid a wonderful bridge from the past to the present.
