Designers of Studioata decided to utilize to the maximum the high ceilings of this ground floor apartment in a magnificent historic building in Turin, Italy. But they did it in a rather original way: with the help of interesting architectural solutions, they managed to install a mezzanine lounge are under the ceiling, where the original painting and stucco were preserved. A perfect example of modern design in an old building!
It’s no secret that in California they have a special passion for European architecture. We have posted a lot on our website about homes designed in the Spanish colonial style from this celebrity-loved state of America. And today’s house is also no exception: the villa of the famous TV star Ellen DeGeneres in Santa Barbara was inspired by traditional Italian stone buildings. Of course, the design was diluted with modern furniture and accessories, but the vintage atmosphere is felt quite well. Great project!
Today we have an incredibly beautiful home in Italy with amazing views from the windows. This classic apartment on the shores of Lake Maggiore was decorated by the Russian designer Anna Dmitrieva of Couture Interiors studio for her family. The highlight of this house is a magnificent color scheme, which, according to Anna, was supposed to convey the natural palette of the local landscapes. A real dream!
You don’t go to the hotels like as Masseria Salinola for active nightlife or brand shopping. This is the place for those who want to dive into the charming Italian countryside and experience the delights of a beautiful Apulia region. This restored farmhouse has a stunning territory in terms of beauty and size, drowning in olive and fruit trees, with interiors and exteriors designed with great love for local traditions. Wonderful!
It’s so easy to fall in love with Italy and it’s hard to forget such a wonderful country. This is exactly what happened to a couple from Russia who, once in a charming Italian village, decided to acquire real estate here. Thank God, the price allowed: an authentic though dilapidated farm house was worth a studio apartment on the outskirts of Moscow. To restore the beautiful stone house the owners attracted local masters, the interior design was done by Zhenya Zhdanova. What came of it – today in our photo story!
Sorry, this entry is only available in Russian. But you still can enjoy photos.
It may be hard to think this magnificent villa in Italy is used as a private home, as it has a lot in common with a historical museum. Black and white marble floors, sculptures, paintings and luxurious chandeliers – all this beauty echoes the amazing views outside the window. The color palette consists of rich deep tones but it is a noble and majestic beauty. The private yard with a swimming pool overlooking the lake is just a dream!
Not many of us knew there is a beautiful small island of Pantelleria somewhere between Europe and Africa in the Mediterranean. But the place is really exotic and picturesque, it’s also a favorite summer resort for many Italians. But what is more interesting for us, chic designer hotel Sikelia was recently opened here, which harmoniously blended into local landscapes and raised the level of hospitality on the island to a new height. Minimalistic design and dark-toned interiors have made this place very atmospheric and stylish!
The owners of this stunning snow-white holiday home on the Lake Como in Italy, a creative couple did not even plan to buy a home here. But when they saw the wonderful old building of the 1930s, they immediately fell in love with its charm and location on the top of the hill with stunning views. Despite all the difficulties in the reconstruction (due to limited access, many building materials and furniture had to be lifted by helicopter), the designer Barbara Falanga created a real oasis of comfort and a cozy nest to enjoy the surrounding beauty. Wonderful!
There is something unpredictable, intriguing, and charming about this wonderful apartment in Milan. Just look at these big paintings in the living room, they expose a lot of expression and fascination. By the way, one of them covers the TV when it’s necessary – great idea, don’t you think!
