And although this apartment is located in the heart of Paris on the Ile de la Cite in a historic building, which is considered an architectural monument, many of the original details in the interiors have been lost during multiple past alterations. Therefore, the designers of After Bach studio decided to play with the grand past of this property with the help of modern design. Thus, a new artistic parquet in the spirit of classical flooring was installed, while all window and door openings were decorated with elegant panels. Interestingly, the ceiling in all rooms, as well as the panels, were painted in a beautiful olive hue, which goes nicely with the warm details of the modern decor. Great home!
