Designer’s home is always a quintessence of creativity and coolness but at the same time, it should be also a place where the family will find comfort. American designer Kelly Westler recently bought this magnificent waterfront residence in Malibu and its interiors are so interesting and stylish! Of course, large windows here are the main architectural element which allows for stunning views. The home is packed with various sculptures and art objects, it feels like being in a small modern museum. Kelly says all these items reflect the lifestyle of designer and her family. Amazing home!
We have already seen many colorful interiors, but that the house was so colorful and juicy not only inside but also outside, this is perhaps for the first time. And where else can we find such a splash of colors if not in Brazil – the country where people can celebrate life in so many ways. The facade of this incredible villa on the oceanfront is painted in rich blue and this color theme continues in the interiors: shades of blue, pink – every room is so bright. Unforgettable!
In 2012, America’s East Coast was badly affected by Hurricane Sandy, many homes in a state like New Jersey were almost completely destroyed. This shore house is located exactly in this part of US and almost nothing remained of it after the mentioned events. But the owner designer Joe Lucas miraculously restored the house to its former glory and breathed new life into its interiors. Let’s have a look!
The last days of summer are so sweet, we want to hold them here for longer… So today we have a beautiful summer house in Spain that will keep us dreaming about sunny days with the warmth of its interiors. The decor of the villa is built on all shades of blue that dilute the modern white interiors and give a visual coolness in this very hot part of Europe. And yet, the house is surrounded by lush greenery which also contributes to the color palette. Such a great home!
This beautiful summer villa in Ibiza is a living proof that all genial is simple. And indeed, there is nothing complicated in the design at all: the house is snow-white both outside and inside, wooden beams on the ceiling, stone on the floor, simple natural materials and clean lines in decoration. We might have said it’s all about decor, but there is not much of it here (but just as needed), as well as no designer pieces. But the house leaves such pleasant and harmonious impression that in your mind you are willing to be transferred to this house and to be dissolved in this beauty. Enjoy!
Isn’t it just an ideal holiday home! The villa has a form of a large cube where one of the walls is made entirely of glass – to take the most out of its incredible location right on the beach on the island of Mallorca. The house has only one bedroom one on the mezzanine level, all the rest space is given to a huge living room with a fireplace, and a small kitchen with a dining area. Light interiors simply breathe nature: wood, stone, natural textiles – such a great example of modern eco-design!
This sunny house in Spain was created only for one purpose – to enjoy all day long the stunning views of the sea, which is literally a few steps away. The main place in the house is an incredibly cozy terrace with comfy sofas and also a dining table. Of course, the host family spends most of their time here. Every room in this house is open to nature and to the sea, so wherever you are, the best views will always accompany. What a dream!
This spacious house on the coast in Massachusetts was designed for a family of five. Here the owners have many places for family gatherings and activities, as well as private rooms to relax. One of the main advantages of the house is the huge windows, which offer a delightful view and which let in plenty of light. Dream house!
When the sun shines most of the year, no wonder you want the warmth and bright colors to fill your home. Just like in this lovely summer cottage in Florida that is a home for a family of surfing lovers. The space is full of life: wallpapers and textiles with succulent prints, wicker furniture, summer colors (pink, blue, turquoise). Wonderful home that embodied all the energy of summer!
It’s no secret that in California they love Spanish colonial architecture, many houses here (including some cool celebrity homes) are built in this style. The fresh project by Chris Barrett seems to virtually transport its owners to far Europe, to the south of Spain, where buildings of this type were first born. Nice!
