The owners of this house on Long Island, New York have always dreamed of an old-good farm like this, but by the time they found it they already had both an apartment and a country house. However, the 1840 building was so fascinated that the deal was concluded 24 hours after the viewing.But this was only the beginning as it was necessary to make the house look like a comfy 21st century home. As a result, everything was updated, except for the staircase. Designer together with the owners managed to create an interesting interior at the junction of times, and the color scheme with the use of malachite, wine, gray and beige flowers gives the house nobility and grace. Now it’s a new and welcoming family home with large windows, bright natural decor, lots of wood and nice pastel shades.
