For a house located just on the sea, there is no better inspiration than waves and sand. The interiors of this villa on the island of Mallorca are bright, warm and full of cozy details. By the way, the marine theme is inscribed in the design very elegantly. The facade of sandy shades, which are then repeated in decor and furniture, while details in the colors of sea wave and brown hues, reminiscent of the ship’s deck, perfectly connect everything together. And, of course, beautiful veranda, small garden, and swimming pool – everything is there, and, moreover, these areas look so stylish. A wonderful home where designers managed to combine nature and home comfort!
The last days of summer are so sweet, we want to hold them here for longer… So today we have a beautiful summer house in Spain that will keep us dreaming about sunny days with the warmth of its interiors. The decor of the villa is built on all shades of blue that dilute the modern white interiors and give a visual coolness in this very hot part of Europe. And yet, the house is surrounded by lush greenery which also contributes to the color palette. Such a great home!
What a lovely home in California’s Marin Country was recently designed by Mark D. Sikes! Here we see a wonderful example of the traditional American design of a country house, in which classical forms and wood predominate. But besides this, we can not fail to admit the beautifully selected color scheme of white and blue shades, that goes through all the interiors. Ideal home with complete relax!
The main motive in the design of this London townhouse is beautiful shades of turquoise color. Walls in the living room are painted in a more saturated tone, in other rooms the color range is lighter and more gentle, but necessarily with the presence of the main color. And we have to say, such palette combined with beautiful English interiors and architecture looks just awesome!
When the sun shines most of the year, no wonder you want the warmth and bright colors to fill your home. Just like in this lovely summer cottage in Florida that is a home for a family of surfing lovers. The space is full of life: wallpapers and textiles with succulent prints, wicker furniture, summer colors (pink, blue, turquoise). Wonderful home that embodied all the energy of summer!
This cozy apartment designed by Andrew Howard is located in a skyscraper in the heart of Atlanta. Despite the fact that the building itself is modern, interiors here has more classic and traditional feel. Light, with an abundance of furniture and various prints, and with beautiful details. The mood here is set by all shades of blue and in combination with large windows, it seems like this is a coastal home, but not an apartment in a metropolis. Living room, dining room, and kitchen are combined into one space, there are also two bedrooms, master and guest bathrooms. What a lovely city home!
This Nantucket home for a big family is a perfect example of a happy summer house. And it is summer not only because the owners come here mainly at this time of year, but also there is a wonderful atmosphere of tranquility and relaxation. This beach house in New Jersey is located at the very edge of the ocean and the color scheme reflects the location. The combination of all shades of white and blue is at the heart of the decoration and it is supported with some touches of sand, turquoise, and green. The traditional interiors are soft and warm, with an abundance of sofas, mirrors, and lots of pretty little things. In addition, the designer has worked very well with prints: geometric, floral, oriental – cool prints and patterns can be found on wallpaper, pillows and even on furniture. But the main feature here is, of course, the view. Dream home!
Designers from Sims Hilditch studio wanted to create cozy but luxurious interiors for a modern apartment in Bath, England. This effect was achieved with a combination of simple lines, a variety of textures and a noble color scheme. We don’t know exactly what is the total area of this Paris apartment but rooms here look really small. Despite this fact, designers from GCG Architectes has made a bold decision to paint all walls and ceiling with colorful shades of blue. High ceiling, of course, helped a lot as the living room feels more spacious than it is and the bedroom was arranged on the mezzanine level. Some may say this design is “too much”, but we think the apartment turned out to be cool and unique. Enjoy!
