But not for designer Elena Fateeva, who is known for her remarkable small-sized projects in Kyiv, Ukraine. In this case, she has done a wonderful transformation – after a smart replanning, Elena managed to create a compact one-bedroom apartment out of a studio and now it feels much larger and more spacious. The owners of this residence of 455 sqm near the city of Kyiv, Ukraine, always wanted to have an atmosphere of relaxation and tranquility, which chalet interiors can give. But they asked architects of OM-Architecture to make a modern interpretation on alpine homes, moving away from the traditional approach. The challenge was accepted, and as a result, every room in the house acquired its unique character and charm, without losing the most important thing – comfort and warmth. The interiors are filled with noble and refined materials, such as wood, several types of stone and patinated copper. Let’s make a virtual trip through this stunning house!
This modern apartment’s building is set in one of the best and picturesque places in Kyiv, Ukraine: right on the banks of the Dnipro river, with views of the city’s Right bank of and with amazing sunsets. Designers from VOVKarcthitects created here a stylish and cozy oasis for a young family with a child, where there is enough room for everyone and everything. The owners are people with a good taste, they pay great attention to the details, so the furniture and fittings in the house are by the American brand. It is interesting that a large painting in the living room was painted by designer Talia Vovk specially for this project!
