Sorry, this entry is only available in Russian. But you still can enjoy photos.
The interiors of this Brooklyn townhouse are in interesting contrast with the surrounding atmosphere: hurrying passers-by, cars and noise – outside and peace and comfort inside. This effect was achieved with the help of soft tones and the absence of bright accents. Through the large windows, you can admire both the life of the city and own private garden, drowning in greenery. The bathroom by the window adds to the relaxing mood even more – in the evening you can have a real spa. Relaxing oasis in a busy metropolis!
In the design of this modern country home in Belgium, it would seem that there is nothing supernatural or extraordinary, but look how beautiful is the interior space here. Even by the photographs, you can feel how much air and freshness there is inside. The rooms are not overloaded with furniture and decor, large windows let in a maximum amount of daylight, and natural materials create an incredibly cozy atmosphere. That’s what we call ideal living!
A Bela Aurora hotel in the heart of Porto (Portugal) got an interesting building with a history. The house was built in 1870 and was originally exclusively private. During the reconstruction, the owners were guided by one important goal – not to destroy the atmosphere of the mansion, which for many years was so carefully created by the previous owners, but to make the hotel comfortable for travelers from all over the world. You will not find a fancy decoration or exclusive design solutions, however all the rooms are bright and very cozy. The hotel owners are proud not only of the building itself, but also of its location – the hotel is within walking distance of the famous Carlos Albert square, the Lello library, the Torre dos Clérigos church and the House of Music.
This apartment in Madrid is an excellent synonym for spring and the awakening nature. Beige and dairy tones are mixed with ash-pink, tender-lime and yellow shades – these are not so bright colors as in the summer, but not cold winter tones. Floristic prints, paintings and posters enlivened the interiors as well. There was a place even for a drop of irony – in the form of a red glossy bulldog in the living room. Wonderful apartment with a great mood!
The owner of this apartment in St. Petersburg, Russia, wanted to have a spacious living room area where he can receive guests, also a fireplace, a sauna and a lot of storage space. At 125 sqm of a total area, all this was skillfully arranged by designer Olga Dianova. Here the living room is combined with the kitchen, there is also a spacious bathroom with a dry sauna, a separate bedroom, and a study room where an extra bed is placed. Despite the fact that a man lives here, the interior did not turn out to be monochrome, brown or gray. There are yellow, green and pink details. All this, as well as a bold approach to design, made it possible to create a bright and interesting home!
Mixing traditional and modern design styles and elements in one space today is quite a popular choice by a designer, and it is no accident. Indeed, playing on the contrast of the old and new, you can achieve quite interesting results. In this beautiful Australian house, fancy modern furniture and one of a kind decor perfectly coexist in the rustic style architecture which is more common for a country cottage. And the home looks just gorgeous!
Pleasant daylight, natural materials, and light modern design – this apartment in Madrid is filled with spring touches and comfort. In decoration, a lot of wood was used: wall panels, large cabinet furniture, small details of wood. The most important thing is that there is a fell of harmony inside this home. Such spaces are designed for enjoying life to the fullest!
Designer Tricia Foley’s house looks so unusual that you ask yourself: is it real? The cottage is surrounded by a field that seems to have inspired the design of the home. The abundance of white, light wood and natural fabrics – interiors reveal all the charm of a simple and easy life outside the city. Nothing here cuts eyes and does not overload a mind. A wonderful option for everyone who loves simplicity and elegance in country houses.
Killiehuntly Hotel in Scotland is an ideal place for those who love quiet rest and remote getaways, as well as for fans of English novels. This former farm is located in the Highland area, that is famous for its landscapes and the fact that it is home to the famous Loch Ness lake. Killiehuntly resembles a traditional country cottage lodge and externally it does not look like a hotel. But inside there is a lot of comfort and style: you can relax by the fireplace with a glass of famous whiskey, take a walk along the green hills, feel like a farmer or try those farm products in the cozy atmosphere of a Scottish house. Wonderful place!
