This residence in the Italian city of Piacenza in a short time turned from a dilapidated rural house into a stylish mansion in a modern style. The architect William Savaiya restored it by himself, for himself and his family. From the outside, the facade was hardly touched – it was important not to spoil the historical appearance of the castle, surrounded by vineyards and majestic nature. But inside the house has undergone significant changes. Finishing was preserved as much as possible, but all furniture and decor were replaced with new pieces – now everything is bright and modern. Such an amazing contrast made this place even more memorable and unique. Such an interesting project!
