Not many people of the small town of Henley, which is 45 minutes from London, could imagine that the old 100-year-old barn might look like this. A few years ago, the architect McLaren Excell created a real miracle – the ugly duckling the building turned into a magnificent example of modern architecture or simply a very stylish modern home. The first floor has a fully open plan, massive wooden beams adorn the ceilings, and huge industrial windows let in the maximum amount of daylight into the rooms. On the upper level there is a cozy attic bedroom and a bathroom. Truly unique and memorable place!
