Tudor house with an impressive interiors in Los Angeles

This Tudor-style brick house was built in Los Angeles in 1925, even before the California modernist movement and the beginning of the golden era of Hollywood. But the restrained facade hides stunning interiors. Recently, the family of Brian Robbins, president of the Nickelodeon network, has been living here. The previous interiors were rather gloomy, in addition, the space was divided into many small rooms. The owners asked the designer to add light and air to the house, use mainly light natural tones and add interesting details. The extra walls were demolished, making the rooms more spacious, and also a great job was done in selecting stone and wood, turning floors, walls and ceiling into a real work of design art. Designers didn’t forget about extraordinary details, for example, a 17th-century fireplace portal was placed above the stove, and the living room was beaten with columns styled in antiquity.
